Michael C. Buchl Mike's professional career started in the incentive group travel and event management industry and has spanned the last decade moving up the event management ladder of success. Mike has mastered all aspects of pre-program, on-site management and post- program operation, while gaining travel experience to more than half the world. Since 1992 mike has been directly involved with over 350 group travel programs. Mike received his degree in Corporate Travel Management from the Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado. This North Dakota native now makes his home in the Mile High City of Denver, Colorado.
Jim has worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years. He has owned or co-owned five travel agencies and two tour companies. He was the first Director of the Institute of Certified Travel Agents and was on the Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Travel executives. He taught the first financial certification course for the National Business Travel Association. Jim has authored many books on travel including Corporate Travel Management and Tour Development Marketing and Management. He has contracted, developed, and run a large number of incentive travel programs. Jim's many other accomplishments can be found by looking through the book of Who's Who. Jim resides in the Denver area.
Tad has been involved in marketing and sales since his departure from Iowa State in 1993 with a degree in marketing. Since then Tad has worked directly with a majority of the larger institutions in the document solutions industry; companies like Ricoh, Konica Minolta and Canon to name a few. Tad’s primary responsibilities were to generate sales and increase market share. After a decade of successful years, Tad joined the MHMI team and now heads the Phoenix division. Tad is responsible for a majority of MHMI’s success and continues to take MHMI to new levels.
Mollie S. Newton, has earned both the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) Designations. A recognized leader in the meeting industry, in 1996, she was named one of the "Tomorrow's Leaders" by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world's largest associations of meeting planning professionals. Ms. Newton is a member of Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has served on MPI international committees for global development, government affairs, and awards. Ms. Newton has been selected for one of the top entrepreneurs in the country by DiversityBusiness.com. She participates in two local chambers of commerce and is involved in community affairs and her children's activities. During the years of 1992-1994, Ms. Newton helped build a shelter for battered and abused women and children through the Rotary International of Toronto, Canada. Ms. Newton served as Director of Meetings for Miller Freeman of Dallas and Executive Director of Sales and Events for BRC International, a special events company based in Toronto.
